NTAC-02 is a pulse encoder interface module from ABB designed for ACS 600 integration.

Hardware & Connections

• Node Settings: Seven DIP switches; default node number 16

• Connectors:

• Optical transmitter/receiver (Hewlett-Packard Versatile Link) for ACS 600

• Two screw terminal blocks (Phoenix Contact MVBSTW 2.5/8-ST5.08) for encoder and power supply, wire size 0.5–2.5 mm²

• Logic Levels (15 V supply): High > 7.6 V, Low < 5 V

• Logic Levels (24 V supply): High > 12.2 V, Low < 8 V

• Speed Feedback Resolution: 0.00305 % (15 bit)

• Electrical Isolation: Inputs isolated from supply and ground

• Channel B: 90° phase shift from Channel A

• Channel Z: One pulse per revolution for positioning
