Overview

The T8311 Expander Interface from ICS Triplex connects the controller chassis to up to seven expander chassis, ensuring fault tolerance with HIFT TMR architecture and comprehensive diagnostics.

Features

• Fault Tolerant: HIFT TMR architecture
• Diagnostics: Rapid fault identification
• Redundant Power: Dual +24V DC from controller chassis
• LED Status:
  • Healthy: Green steady (healthy), red flashing (fault)
  • Active: Green steady when active
  • Standby: Green steady in standby

Installation & Configuration

• Module Placement: Single-width slots in the controller chassis
• Dual Modules: Left-hand module in odd-numbered slots
• Automatic Selection: TMR processor selects active module
