ILX34-MBS485

Overview

ProSoft ILX34-MBS485 is a Modbus Serial communication module designed for use with CompactLogix L1 controllers and Point I/O adapters. It enables seamless integration of Modbus RTU and ASCII devices into Rockwell automation systems.

• Programming software: RSLogix 5000 / Studio 5000

Communication Parameters

• Baud rates supported: 2400, 4800, 9600, 19200, 38400

• Stop bits: 1 or 2

• Data size: 7 or 8 bits

• Parity options: None, Even, Odd

Modbus Protocol Support

• Modes:

  • RTU mode (8-bit data only)

  • ASCII mode with LRC error checking

• Node address range: 1 to 247

• Supported function codes:

  • 01: Read Coil Status

  • 02: Read Input Status

  • 03: Read Holding Registers

  • 04: Read Input Registers

  • 05: Force Single Coil

  • 06: Preset Single Holding Register

  • 08: Diagnostics (Slave Only, Sub-function 00)

  • 15: Force Multiple Coils

  • 16: Preset Multiple Holding Registers
