Product Overview

REM611 is an ABB motor protection and control relay featuring a Local Human-Machine Interface (LHMI) for easy setting, monitoring, and control.

Local HMI

• The LHMI provides user interface components including display, buttons, LED indicators, and a communication port.

• It allows configuration, monitoring, and controlling of the protection relay locally.

Display

• Graphical display supports two character sizes based on selected language.

• Number of characters and rows visible depends on character size.

LEDs

• Three protection indicators above the display: Ready, Start, and Trip.

• Eight programmable LEDs on the front, configurable via LHMI, WHMI, or PCM600 software.

Keypad

• Push buttons enable navigation through menus and views.

• Buttons provide commands for opening/closing primary circuit objects like breakers or contactors.

• Used for alarm acknowledgment, indication reset, help access, and switching between local and remote control modes.
