Overview

FAU800 Flame Analysis Unit designed for monitoring flame characteristics with configurable relay settings, dual analog outputs, and redundant serial communication interfaces.

Relay Configuration

• Flame Failure Relay Drop-Out: Configurable from 0.1 to 2.5 seconds

• Flame Relay(s): Three total, each with Form C contacts

• Flame Relay Contact Ratings: 250 Vac, 3A, 750 VA; 220 Vdc, 300 mA, 66 W

• Fault Relay Contact Ratings: 250 Vac, 3A, 750 VA; 220 Vdc, 300 mA, 66 W

Signal Outputs

• Analog Flame Signal Outputs: Two channels, 4-20 mA each

• Monitoring Options: Intensity, Frequency, Quality, AC Amplitude (independent per channel)

Communication Interfaces

• Serial Data Communication: Two galvanically isolated RS-485 interfaces

• Data Format: MODBUS (default), PROFIBUS (optional)

Self-Check Function

• Electronics Check Interval: Every 0.1 seconds
