The IS200VTURH1BAC is a GE Mark V Primary Turbine Protection board for turbine overspeed, generator synchronization, and shaft voltage monitoring, usable in both TMR and simplex applications.

Functional Description

• Function: Primary Turbine Protection
• Boards Supported: TRPG, TRPL, TREG, TRPS

Speed Monitoring

• MPU Pulse Rate Range: 2 Hz to 20 kHz
• MPU Pulse Rate Accuracy: 0.05% of Reading
• Simplex Mode: Up to 4 pulse rate signals for turbine speed measurement

Control & Synchronization

• Number of Trip Solenoids: 3
• Contact Voltage Sensing: 20V DC for HI, 6V DC for LO
• Bus and generator voltages brought on for automatic synchronization with turbine controller and excitation system
• Used with TTUR for permissive generator synchronization relays and main breaker relay coil 52G control

Shaft Voltage Monitoring

• Shaft voltage picked up with brushes and monitored with current to machine case

Redundancy

• Usable in triple modular redundant (TMR) or simplex applications
