Product Overview

ACM71 is an Ethernet Communication Module designed for Yokogawa’s legacy Distributed Control Systems (DCS), specifically compatible with CENTUM CS 1000 and CENTUM CS 3000.

Technical Specifications

• Physical Layer & Interface: IEEE 802.3 10BASE-T, 10 Mbps communication using CSMA/CD, equipped with a single RJ45 port and operating in a point-to-point topology via a hub or switch.

• Transmission Capabilities: Uses unshielded twisted-pair cable with a maximum transmission distance of up to 100 meters per segment.

• LED Status Indicators: SND indicates data transmission activity, RCV indicates data reception activity, and RDY shows normal hardware readiness status.

• Electrical & Physical Properties: Operates at 5.0 V DC with current consumption of 1.2 A or less, weighs approximately 0.3 kg, and is installed inside a compatible communication module nest alongside modules such as ACM21 or ACM22.
