The Yokogawa AIP827 is an industrial-grade, specialized USB operation keyboard designed for the Human Interface Station (HIS) within Yokogawa’s Distributed Control Systems (DCS), such as CENTUM VP and CENTUM CS 3000.

The device uses a dust-proof and drip-proof flat-panel keyboard design combining a standard ASCII layout with dedicated industrial operation keys. It connects via USB Type-A and supports plug-and-play operation on compatible HIS systems, with touch-sensitive input designed for bare-hand use.

The unit operates with an AC power supply supporting 100–120 V AC or 220–240 V AC at 50/60 Hz, depending on configuration. Total power consumption is up to 20 VA. In addition, basic internal functions are supported via a 5 V DC ±5% USB bus power supply from the host computer.

Operating temperature ranges from 5°C to 40°C, while storage and transportation conditions range from -20°C to 60°C. It supports operation in environments with 20% to 80% relative humidity, non-condensing.
