Overview

8271-468 is a Woodward generator loading control designed for commercial generator sets.

Functionality & Application

• Pre-programmed for standard commercial generator load control

• Adjusts electrical load based on user specifications and power system type

• Supports isolated power systems and local systems paralleled to an infinite bus

• Detects generator load via paralleled lines from load sharing and speed control units

• Outputs bias voltage to control a portion of total system load

Installation & Connections

• Wiring: 12 labeled wire terminals for connection

• Testing: Voltage measurement at load signal test jacks when paralleling to infinite bus
