Overview

621-9928R: The Honeywell Serial Link Selector Module (SLS) is a double-wide module installed in slots B and C of an I/O card file, for redundant Serial I/O Systems to switch shared serial communication devices.

Backpanel Connections

• Minimal Connections: 3 types: +5 Vdc, ground, power fail signal.

Redundancy Control

• RCM-Controlled Switching: 2 x 3-position front panel connectors for switch select signals.

Front Panel Connectors

• Terminal Blocks A & B: 2 x 12-position; 1-8: comm signals; 9-12: shield grounds.
• Terminal Block Out: 1 x 12-position for external serial devices.
