Overview

The GE DS200SHVMG1A is a high-voltage interface board used in Mark V Series turbine control systems. It converts shunt voltage signals into differential frequency outputs and provides configurable attenuation for AC line currents.

Functional Capabilities

• Signal Conversion:

  • Converts shunt signals from -500 mV to +500 mV into frequency outputs from 0 to 500 kHz

  • Voltage Controlled Oscillator (VCO) circuits handle conversion using floating DC shunts

• Output Routing:

  • Sends converted signals to DCFB, SDCI boards, or PCCA card

• AC Current Attenuation:

  • 10:1 attenuation via current transformers

  • Attenuation is user-selectable using 17 onboard jumpers

  • Voltage Range Guidelines:

    • 240–600 V: attenuators bypassed

    • 601–1000 V: attenuators included
