T8310

Overview

The T8310 Expander Processor interfaces between the expander and controller chassis with fault tolerance through HIFT TMR architecture and rapid fault diagnostics.

Performance

• Data Transfer Rate: 250 Mbps via TC-301 cable and T8312 adaptor
• Power: Dual +24V DC from expander chassis backplane

LED Indicators

• Healthy:
  • Green steady: Healthy slice
  • Red flashing: Fault in the slice
• Active:
  • Green steady: Active mode
• Standby:
  • Green steady: Standby mode
• TxRx:
• • Green: Receive activity
  • Red: Transmit activity
  • Amber: Both receive and transmit
  • Off: No activity or failed

Installation

• Slot Placement: Two leftmost processor slots in the expander chassis
• Standby Configuration: Supports automatic and manual repair strategies
