APM11

Overview

APM11 is a pulse input module from Yokogawa, supporting 2-wire or 3-wire signals, including contact ON/OFF, voltage pulses, and current pulses. It can supply power to the transmitter and integrates easily into the I/O Module Nest.

Input Signal

• 2-wire type: Contact ON/OFF, voltage pulse, current pulse (can supply power from transmitter)

• 3-wire type: Power supply type voltage pulse

• Input Frequency: 0–10 kHz

• Data Update Period: 100 ms

• Minimum Input Pulse Width: 40 µs

Contact Input

• Detecting Level: Open ≥100 kΩ, Closed ≤200 Ω

• Contact Capacity: 15 V DC / 15 mA (12 V supply), 30 V DC / 30 mA (24 V supply)

Voltage / Current Pulse Input

• High Level (VH): +3–24 V DC

• Low Level (VL): -1–8 V DC

• Swing (VH–VL): 3 V

• Signal Source Resistance: ≤1 kΩ

• Shunt Resistance: 200 / 510 / 1000 Ω / OFF selectable

• Pull-up Resistance: 68 kΩ (12 V or 24 V)

Transmitter Power Supply

• 12 V DC ±10%: ≤35 mA

• 24 V DC ±10%: ≤24 mA

• Output Current Limit: ≤40 mA DC

Auxiliary Output

• Output Type: Transistor contact (Open collector)

• Output Capacity: 30 V DC, ≤30 mA

• Signal Grounding: Shared with system

• Current Consumption: ≤400 mA (5 V DC)
