Overview

Woodhead SST-ESR2-CLX is a ControlLogix communication module for Rockwell 1756 systems, supporting multiple modules in a chassis with local and remote rack connectivity.

Memory & Diagnostics

• Onboard Memory: 128 MB shared memory

• Flash Memory: 8 MB for user configuration and firmware

• Diagnostics: 4-character display; 3 LEDs indicating network health (COMM), communication status (SYS), and module OK

I/O & Shared Memory

• I/O Mapping: Max 496 bytes input, 496 bytes output, 250 words status, 41 bytes configuration

• Shared Memory: 32K words and 32K bits, read/write access, ladder logic based on CIP messaging

• Current Consumption: 850 mA @ 5 V, 1.75 mA @ 24 V
