F 8650X

Overview

The F 8650X is a central module for the PES H51q-MS, -HS, and -HRS systems. It is safety-related, supporting up to SIL 3 according to IEC 61508, and features two clock-synchronized microprocessors.

• Clock Frequency: 25 MHz
• Memory per Microprocessor:
  • Operating System Flash-EPROM: 1 MB
  • User Program Flash-EPROM: 1 MB (Degree of utilization depending on OS version)
  • Data SRAM: 1 MB

Interfaces

• Serial Interfaces: 2 x RS 485 with electrical isolation

Diagnostics and Fault Handling

• Display: 4-digit matrix display with selectable information
• Watchdog: Safety-related with output 24 V, loadable up to 500 mA, short-circuit proof
