Overview

DIO280 is a Bachmann Digital Input/Output Module with configurable inputs for counting and interrupts.

Input Characteristics

• Voltage Range (High): 15–34 V DC

• Voltage Range (Low): 0–5 V DC

• Input Filter: 600 µs standard, adjustable 10 µs to 270 ms

• Internal Resistance: 8 kΩ

• Status Indication: Green LED

• Interrupt Inputs: 8, configurable as counter or interrupt inputs

Counters & Encoder Support

• Number of Counters: Up to 4

• Resolution: 32-bit

• Modes: Event counter, incremental encoder, gate time, period duration, frequency measurement

• Encoder Types: Incremental (A/B channel), single-channel pulse

• Signal Evaluation: 1-/2-/4-fold edge evaluation or pulse direction mode

• Max Input Frequency (Dual-channel): 20 kHz
