Boosting Backing of Vietjet's Growing Fleet
Honeywell and Vietjet Air signed a five-year agreement to provide maintenance services on Honeywell's 331-350 auxiliary power units (APUs) installed on Vietjet's Airbus A330 aircraft. The deal, which the two companies announced in a release, will be done for 30 widebody aircraft and marks a milestone in their current partnership. With Honeywell's support as Vietjet expands its fleet, reliability and efficiency in operations are ensured.
A Proven Solution for New-Age Aviation
The 331-350 APU, specifically designed for the Airbus A330, is among Honeywell's esteemed 331 family—already with over 100 million flight hours. This premium unit offers higher reliability, lower maintenance costs, and greater fuel efficiency compared to earlier designs. It powers essential aircraft systems like engine start-up, air conditioning, and cabin pressurization, especially on the ground. Vietjet's fleet remains at the forefront of aviation technology thanks to Honeywell's dedication to innovation.

Vietjet, which recently acquired 20 additional A330neo and 200 Boeing 737 MAX aircraft, is investing in scalable solutions to support its rapid expansion.
